Dragon-A-Day Online: Day 306

While idly sketching on my lunchbreak at work today I found myself drawing something vaguely, then clearly aquatic, probably because I’d just finished re-reading Jaws:

I kind of bounced between the head sketch and the silhouette-y body shape drawing, so they two don’t quite match up- it wasn’t that I did one, then the other; I pretty much did both at the same time.

And while I’ve messed around with the idea of multiple eyes before, I tried to mess with the order that they scaled (the smallest is in the middle, and the largest, most rudimentary towards the back, though I’m not quite sure why, aside from the desire to do something different), but I don’t think that it quite had the effect that it really could have. I’m not even really sure what kind of adaptation they are, aside from a Cool one.

Ah well, this could use some refining either way, even if I don’t know the ins and outs of its entire anatomy.
