I’m up and idling in a virtual class so I decided to take advantage of my “doing nothing in front of a computer” status:
I specifically set out to draw a Grinning Dragon, but I tried to make it a little different from the norm. At first I thought I would just have it be small differences, like the hornlets on the head ridges, the number of chin horns, the number of the vanes in the rudimentary wings, stuff like that. I inadvertently made the neck too short and possibly the limbs not rangy enough, but this dragon still reads as a member of the bloodline to me.
Not the worst way to start the morning. Now I’m going to finish cleaning my bathroom.
