Dragon-A-Day Online: Day 1,059: Avaritia. Gluttire.

I took my sketchbook to church (I’m not a regular member of any congregation) today, so naturally I spent the time thinking about sins.

Gluttony should have been second, but I ended up doing Greed first. Probably because I was puzzling out what sort of limbless, propless posture or expression could imply avarice. I’m not sure if I succeeded.

Gluttony was a lot simpler, and really the only thing I needed to do was rein myself in:

The simpler layout is working quite well, but the one thing I really need to keep in mind is that the dragons need to approach the same level of detail that Pride currently has– Gluttony’s mostly unadorned self seems somewhat lacking. I’ll have to work on it.
