I did know about the Bhutanese Thunder Dragon, but never did anything with or about it. Possibly because the original (or at least the obvious) reference material is… surprisingly hard to follow; I’m baffled that there’s never been a redesign, and even felt like I was doing it a disservice by trying to impose things like perspective and a skull on him:
