So like I said yesterday, I was out of town. Yes, I know it was Valentine’s Day; that’s why I was gone. Yes, I had a good time, Internet. Let’s just leave it at that.
At any rate, after walking back through an icy Boston night after dinner, I sat and thought about the nature of the day, and the subtle but unspoken pressure to be With Someone on that day, as well as through the rest of life:
“Solitude is not always something to be reviled.”
Truth be told, I can’t see The Little One being alone on Valentine’s Day except by choice.
